My visit to Washington, D.C.
I was in the nation's capital last week in the days leading up to Barack Obama's inauguration because the NCAA Convention was held at the Gaylord National Resort in suburban Washington, D.C. I was able to sneak away from the convention on Thursday and tour the city. Here's a few snapshots of what I was able to see:

Up close shot of the Vietnam War Memorial Wall. More than 58,000 names on the wall, I was told.
Union Station, already decorated for the inauguration.
Me in front of the Vietnam War Memorial Wall. It was about 5:30 PM and 21 degrees with 20 mph winds. Refreshing.

Lincoln Memorial, easily my favorite stop.
The Iwo Jima Memorial, easily my second favorite.
Amazingly, all of these pictures were snapped with my Blackberry. I like the way this one turned out.
