My visit to Washington, D.C.
I was in the nation's capital last week in the days leading up to Barack Obama's inauguration because the NCAA Convention was held at the Gaylord National Resort in suburban Washington, D.C. I was able to sneak away from the convention on Thursday and tour the city. Here's a few snapshots of what I was able to see:
Washington Monument with the Capital just to the right in the distant background.
Up close shot of the Vietnam War Memorial Wall. More than 58,000 names on the wall, I was told.Arlington National Cemetery.

Did you get a picture of when you crawled up in Lincoln's lap at his Memorial?
